The bodies of seven people swept away by the flood in Rasuwa have been recovered.
Deputy Inspector General Deepak Regmi, chief of the Bagmati Province Police Office, said that seven bodies were recovered on Wednesday.
According to him, three bodies were found in Nuwakot and four in Dhading.
A flood hit the Timure area of Rasuwa at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The flood, which came from the Tibet region through the Bhotekoshi River, has reached rivers in Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, and other areas.
Teams from the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police have been deployed to the affected areas for rescue operations.
