The Meteorological Forecast Division has stated that the country is currently under the partial influence of a western low-pressure system.
According to the division, the high-hilly and mountain regions of the country will be completely cloudy Wednesday afternoon, while the hilly and Tarai areas of the remaining regions will experience cloudy weather. Additionally, there is a possibility of moderate snowfall and rain at some places of the high-hilly and mountain regions of the country.
There is a possibility of moderate rain in some places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Far West provinces, light rain in some places of the hilly regions of Bagmati, Madhesh, and Koshi provinces, and light rain in one or two places of the Tarai region in Koshi province.
Similarly, tonight, the hilly and mountain regions of the country will be partially cloudy, while the weather will remain clear in the remaining parts. There is a possibility of light snowfall and rain in one or two places of the high-hilly and mountain regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
In Kathmandu, there has only been light drizzles at some places. Meteorologist Binod Pokharel stated that light rain has been occurring in western Nepal until Tuesday and the system causing the rain has reached Gorkha on Wednesday.
He mentioned that there is a possibility of this causing rain in most places throughout Wednesday. The division has stated that from Thursday onward, the weather will start to clear up, although it may remain cloudy in some places.
