Gen Z representative Purushottam Yadav has given a statement to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for three hours.
Yadav visited the NHRC on Wednesday and gave his statement.
He said that he provided the statement after being summoned by the commission on Wednesday.
“They took both written and oral statements from 11 a.m. to nearly 2 p.m.,” Yadav said.
The NHRC is investigating the incidents that occurred during the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9.
On Monday, it summoned Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah and recorded his statement.
Yadav recently joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
The RSP has included him in its preliminary closed list of candidates under the proportional representation electoral system.
