Police have arrested Rajendra Shakya, the promoter of Guna Airlines.
Shakya was arrested by a team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police, according to Senior Superintendent of Police Shiva Kumar Shrestha.
The CIB team arrested him from Jawalakhel in Lalitpur on Wednesday.
He is accused of being involved in an incident that caused loss to Prabhu Bank Limited.
Previously, the CIB arrested three officials of Prabhu Bank, including Chief Executive Officer Ashok Sherchan.
The CIB has moved forward with investigation against the three under the Banking Offense Act after securing an extension of their custody from the court.
