Ex-president Bhandari obtains copy of citizenship certificate

Former president Bidya Devi Bhandari has obtained a copy of her citizenship certificate.

On Tuesday, Bhandari went to the District Administration Office in Kathmandu and obtained a copy of her citizenship certificate.

After the Gen Z movement, her residence in Budhanilkantha was set on fire on September 9.

During the arson attack, Bhandari’s citizenship certificate was also burned.

She visited the District Administration Office, where Chief District Officer Ishwar Raj Paudel handed Bhandari a copy of her citizenship certificate.
