Three more bodies have been found at the Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Dharan, Sunsari.

Arson and looting took place at the Bhatbhateni Supermarket following the Gen Z protests on September 9.

On Friday morning, one body was found inside the supermarket. In the afternoon, three more bodies were found burnt inside the building.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Jalekhu of the Area Police Office, Dharan, said that a total of four bodies have been found inside the building.

"The total count is four. Skeletal remains and ashes were found. We completed the legal procedures," he said. “DNA testing will be required for identification.”
