A bench of six judges at the Special Court has ordered the publisher, editor, and reporter of Drishti Media to appear in court to provide statements in a contempt of court case.

Nawaraj Sapkota and others filed a contempt of court case after the news was published.
The court has ordered Drishti Media’s publisher Shambhu Lal Shrestha, editor MP Subba, and the reporter of the news to personally appear before the court and record their statements.
It has also ordered Drishti Media to furnish an answer through a legal representative within three days as to why it should not face legal action and punishment for contempt of court as demanded by the petitioners.
Additionally, the court has ordered that the news article not be removed or altered in any form until further notice.
