The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has imposed a prohibitory order in the Narayanhiti Palace area.
On Friday, Chief District Officer Rishiraj Tiwari issued a prohibitory order in the Narayanhiti Palace Museum area of Kathmandu effective from May 31 to July 8.
The order prohibits protest activities in the area from Keshar Mahal Chowk to Narayanhiti Palace Museum’s South Gate up to Jai Nepal Mode, and from Mahendra Salik to Narayanhiti Palace Museum’s South Gate.
The administration has prohibited gatherings of more than five people in the Narayanhiti Palace area for protest activities such as hunger strikes, sit-ins, picketing, processions, demonstrations, and assemblies.
