The 2^nd edition of ‘The Great Himalaya Trail – A Pictorial Guide’ was launched amid a program organized in the capital on Wednesday. The book is expected to inform tourists about Nepal's geographical and environmental condition targeting Visit Nepal 2020. The new picture book consists captivating and mesmerizing pictures of Great Himalaya Trail starting from Kanchanjunga in east to Darchula in west. The book has all the necessary information including maps and color pictures of the trekking regions by separating them into ten parts-- Kanchanjunga, Makalu, Solukhumbu/Everest, Rolwaling, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh, Annapurna, Nar and Fu, Mustang, Dolpo, Mugu/Humla and Far west. Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board Deepak Raj Giri said that Great Himalaya will be renowned as a distinct activity across the globe for sustainable tourism.
