The Kathmandu District Court on Tuesday has extended the judicial custody of three people arrested for their alleged involvement in murdering former envoy to France Keshav Jha.
"The court has extended custody by five more days," DSP at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu Mohan Kumar Thapa said Setopati.
Jha was found dead with slit throat at his residence in Babbarmahal on Monday morning.
Preliminary investigation shows that knife was used to murder Jha.
Police had arrested three workers at Jha's house to investigate into the case on Monday. Police are preparing to conduct a polygraph test on the arrestees.
