Pratima Gautam elected Nepali Congress joint general secretary

Pratima Gautam has been elected joint general secretary under the women’s category at the Nepali Congress’s 15th general convention.

Gautam was elected to the post with 5,116 votes.

Two candidates contested the single position of joint general secretary under the women’s category.

The other candidate, Nanumaiya Bastola, received 1,554 votes.

Both candidates had been elected central members at the party’s special general convention held in January.
