Voting for the central working committee election under the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress has been extended until 7 p.m. Friday.
In a notice issued on Friday afternoon, the election committee announced that the voting deadline, previously set for 5 p.m., had been extended to 7 p.m.
Voting began on Friday morning at polling stations located at Khula Manch and the Rastriya Sabha Griha in Kathmandu.
Raju Katuwal, member-secretary of the election committee, issued the notice informing all general convention representatives, voters, and others about the extension of voting hours.
