Dila Sangraula Panta to run for Nepali Congress general secretary

Dila Sangraula Panta has announced her candidacy for the post of general secretary of the Nepali Congress.

She was elected as a joint general secretary at the party’s special general convention held in January.

She was also elected as a central member at the party’s general convention held in 2021.

She announced her candidacy for the post of general secretary at a press conference held on Monday.

The Nepali Congress has proposed three general secretary positions, including one reserved for a woman.

Former joint general secretary Mahalaxmi Upadhyaya Dina has also announced her candidacy for the general secretary post.
