Ranjit Karn has announced his candidacy for the post of general secretary of the Nepali Congress.

Karn, a general convention representative from Saptari, announced his candidacy for the post on Monday.

He is also a member of the National Assembly.

Karn announced his candidacy at a press conference held in Kathmandu on Monday.

The Nepali Congress has proposed three general secretary positions, including one reserved for a woman.
