Prime Minister Balen Shah has said that relations between Nepal and India have always remained cordial and close.
According to the prime minister’s secretariat, PM Shah made the remarks during a farewell meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava, who visited the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar as he prepares to return to India after completing his tenure.
During the meeting, PM Shah expressed special gratitude to the Government of India for its assistance to Nepal during the recent floods, landslides, and other disasters.
He also congratulated Ambassador Srivastava on completing his tenure and extended his best wishes for his future.
During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava said that several development projects between the two countries had been completed during his tenure. He also expressed special gratitude to the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people for their support during his stay in the country.
