The 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress has been postponed by two days.
Although the inauguration of the general convention was scheduled for October 2, it has now been pushed back to October 4.
Krishna Prasad Dulal, acting chief secretary of the party, said that the inauguration ceremony will be held at Khula Manch in Kathmandu on October 4 at 2 p.m.
The constituency conventions and the process of selecting general convention delegates were delayed due to difficult circumstances caused by continuous rainfall across the country over the past few days.
As the delegate election process is expected to continue until October 1, the general convention has been postponed by two days.
