Deepak Sah set to become industry minister

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Deepak Shah is set to become the new minister for industry, commerce, and supplies.

Prime Minister Balen Shah has decided to appoint Sah as industry minister following the resignation of Gauri Kumari Yadav earlier on Thursday.

A member of PM Shah’s secretariat confirmed that the decision had been made to appoint Sah as minister.

Shah is a lawmaker elected from Sunsari-4.

Gauri Kumari Yadav had faced intense criticism after she said that cooking gas would not be easily available unti are severely punished.

She resigned from the post and left the ministry on Thursday.
