Cabinet members to contribute one month’s salary to PM Disaster Relief Fund

The entire Cabinet, including the prime minister, will contribute one month’s salary or remuneration to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to assist those affected by the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli flood.

The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting held on Friday.

The meeting also decided to direct the Ministry of Finance to prepare a relief and rehabilitation package for individuals and commercial institutions that suffered losses in the flood-affected districts.
