Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma has left for India.
According to Joint Registrar Arjun Prasad Koirala, spokesperson for the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Sharma left for India on Thursday via Air India at the invitation of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Surya Kant.
On Friday, he will participate in a conference organized to mark the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). The event will be held at the administrative building of the Supreme Court in New Delhi.
India's Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and Chief Justice Surya Kant will address the event.
The event will conclude on Sunday, July 26.
Chief Justice Sharma’s itinerary also includes an observation tour of the Supreme Court of India.
The chief justice is accompanied by his wife, Uma Sharma, and his personal secretary, Amit Upreti.
Following the conclusion of the event, Chief Justice Sharma's delegation will return to Kathmandu on July 27.
