A suspicious vehicle has been parked outside the residence of Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa as well.
A car has been parked outside Thapa's house since Monday morning, disrupting movement in the area.
According to local residents, the car has been parked there since around 7 a.m., blocking the road to the extent that even motorcycles cannot pass through easily.
Locals also claimed that after parking the car there, the driver was seen leaving in a police vehicle.
According to Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, police have already reached the scene.
"We have just received the report. We will tow the vehicle away," he said.
Earlier on Monday, suspicious vehicles were also parked outside the offices of Kantipur Publications, Onlinekhabar, and other media organizations.
The vehicles were parked around 7:30 a.m. at the gates of the media houses, obstructing access to their offices.
At Kantipur Publications' office in Tinkune, the parked vehicle hindered journalists and staff from entering and leaving the premises with their vehicles.
The vehicles have since been removed with the help of cranes.
