Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal is set to visit China on June 14.
Issuing a press release on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the visit is scheduled to take place from June 14 to June 17.
Foreign Minister Khanal is visiting China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.
"The minister will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing. The discussion will focus on further strengthening Nepal-China relations and cooperation on issues of mutual interest. Additionally, the minister will hold meetings with other high-level Chinese officials," the ministry's statement said.
Khanal will also participate in an investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy to promote foreign investment in Nepal. During the event, he will engage in discussions with the Chinese business community.
He is scheduled to return to Nepal on June 17.
