Four political parties have decided to continue the current government in Madhesh province under the leadership of the Nepali Congress.
Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Krishna Prasad Yadav is currently serving as the chief minister of Madhesh.
A meeting of the ruling coalition partners held on Sunday decided to continue supporting the Nepali Congress-led government.
The decision was made by Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Yadav, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal parliamentary party leader Saroj Kumar Yadav, Nepali Communist Party parliamentary party leader Yuvaraj Bhattarai, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal parliamentary party leader Zainul Rain.
Meanwhile, internal disputes have emerged within the Janamat Party in Madhesh. The party currently has two ministers in the provincial government.
The party replaced its parliamentary party leader and instructed the ministers to resign from the government, but the ministers have refused to comply.
