The Department of Money Laundering Investigation (DMLI) has raided the residence of Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya.
The department conducted raids at Chief Minister Baniya’s residence and various offices on Monday.
According to a source, the raids were carried out at his offices in Naxal and Sundhara, Kathmandu, as well as his residence and office in Hetauda.
Baniya currently serves as the president of the Nepali Congress Bagmati province committee, the leader of the Bagmati province parliamentary party, and the chief minister of the province.
