Members of the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) staged a protest inside Singha Durbar on Tuesday.
The demonstration took place on Tuesday afternoon while a Cabinet meeting was underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
According to NSU central member Bhuwan Bhatta, the protest was organized to demand the home minister’s resignation and call for measures to control inflation.
He said that the demonstration took place in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
Participants included NSU leaders Bhatta, Kumbha Raj Deuba, Manjan Devkota, Pragya Yogi, and Sunil Aidee, among others.
They chanted slogans calling for the home minister’s resignation and protesting inflation.
