The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) parliamentary party has finalized its candidates for the chairs of various parliamentary committees.
A meeting held at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar on Thursday afternoon finalized the names for chairs of the thematic committees under the House of Representatives.
According to an RSP lawmaker, these names were proposed and subsequently endorsed by the meeting.
The elections for committee chairs will take place on Friday, with nominations scheduled for Thursday.
An RSP office-bearer said that the party prioritized re-elected lawmakers and subject-matter experts when selecting the candidates.
Notably, the party has decided to support the main opposition, the Nepali Congress, for the chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee.

- Infrastructure Development Committee - Ashish Gajurel
- State Affairs and Good Governance Committee - Hari Dhakal
- Agriculture, Cooperatives, and Natural Resources Committee - Ashok Kumar Chaudhary
- Public Accounts Committee - Support to Nepali Congress
- Women and Social Affairs Committee - Akriti Awasthi
- Industry, Commerce, Labor, and Consumer Interests Committee - Rahbar Ansari
- Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee - Ojaswi Sherchan
- International Relations and Tourism Committee - Sumnima Udas
- Finance Committee - Krishna Hari Budhathoki
- Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the Directive Principles, Policies, and Obligations of the State - Ganesh Karki
