The government has formed a committee to implement the report of the inquiry commission led by former judge Gauri Bahadur Karki regarding the incidents of September 8 and 9.
Government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel said that a Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to form a committee to study the report submitted by the Karki-led inquiry commission on the events of September 8 and 9, and to make recommendations regarding the security mechanisms.
According to him, the committee has been formed under the leadership of former high court judge Prem Raj Karki. Former additional inspector general (AIG) of Armed Police Force Subodh Adhikari and former AIG of Nepal Police Tek Prasad Rai are members of the committee.
