Foreign Minister Khanal meets Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar

Kathmandu, April 10

Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a meeting on Friday.

Khanal, who is currently on a visit to Mauritius, held talks with Minister Jaishankar on Friday.

Minister Jaishankar shared photos of their meeting on social media and said that he congratulated Khanal.

“Glad to meet FM Shishir Khanal of Nepal this afternoon. Congratulated him on his appointment,” he wrote, adding that they discussed realizing the full potential of the Nepal-India partnership by deeper collaboration in different sectors.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also released a statement regarding the meeting between the two ministers.

Minister Khanal is currently in Port Louis, Mauritius, to participate in the 9th Indian Ocean Conference being held on Friday and Saturday.
