Attorney General Sabita Bhandari has resigned from her position.

She was appointed attorney general by the prime minister of the interim government, Sushila Karki.

Following the appointment of Balen Shah as prime minister, Attorney General Bhandari tendered her resignation on Friday.

She stated that she has submitted her resignation to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
