The Nepali Congress has demanded the release of the report prepared by the judicial inquiry commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki regarding the incidents that occurred on September 8 and 9 last year.
The party's central committee meeting, which concluded on Sunday, urged the government to make the report public immediately.
Although the commission has already submitted its findings to the government, the administration led by Sushila Karki has faced criticism for failing to release them.
"This meeting demands that the government immediately release the report submitted by the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led inquiry commission, which was formed to conduct judicial investigations into the incidents that occurred during the Gen Z protest on September 8 and 9, 2025," said NC spokesperson Devraj Chalise while announcing the decisions of the central committee.
