Iranian security forces detain one Nepali in Strait of Hormuz

Kathmandu, March 20

Iranian security forces have taken a Nepali citizen into custody.

According to Ramkaji Khadka, head of the West Asia Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one Nepali national was detained by security forces in the Strait of Hormuz.

He shared this information during a press conference on Friday.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had reported that there were six Nepali citizens in Iran. However, according to the latest update, the number has increased to 11, Khadka said.
