The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to submit the names of 57 lawmakers for the proportional representation (PR) category to the Election Commission.
According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, a meeting of the RSP central secretariat held on Sunday decided to recommend 48 women and 9 men to the commission.
The recommended lawmakers include 17 from the Khas Arya cluster, 16 from the Adivasi Janajati cluster, 8 from the Dalit cluster, 3 from the Muslim cluster, 9 from the Madheshi cluster, and 4 from the Tharu cluster.
Spokesperson Jha said that the party headquarters has assigned specific staff and secretariat members to submit the list to the Election Commission within the stipulated time.
The Election Commission had given parties until Sunday to recommend their PR candidates.
The RSP said that if the submitted names do not strictly align with the required clusters, the commission can make necessary adjustments.

Khas Arya: Pratibha Rawal, Rachana Khatiwada, Lima Adhikari, Bidushi Rana, Samikshya Baskota, Shraddha Kunwar, Tika Sangraula, Krantishikha Dhital, Akriti Awasthi, Srishti Bhattarai, Manju Bhusal, Prabha Karki, Shobha Khanal, Ratna Kumari Thapa, Gyanu Paudel, Prabha Dhakal, and Ramesh Prasai.
Adivasi Janajati: Basumaya Tamang, Ganga Chhantyal, Sumnima Udas, Anushka Shrestha, Ojaswi Sherchan, Sirjana Shrestha, Rajani Shrestha, Kusum Maharjan, Bhumika Shrestha, Pramila Kuluju, Sujata Tamang, Kripa Maharjan, Aliza Gurung, Ram Lama, Khushbu Sarkar Shrestha, and Mingma Gyabu Sherpa.
Madheshi: Punam Kumari Agrawal, Nisha Mehta, Lalita Kumari, Ankita Thakur, Sarita Mahato, Sunita Kumari Chaudhary, Kamini Kumari, Purushottam Suprabhat Yadav, and Khagendra Karna.
Dalit: Reema Bishwokarma, Amrita BK, Sita Badi, Smriti Senchury, Sushma Swarnakar, Tara Bishwakarma, Khima BK, and Prakash Chandra Pariyar.
Tharu: Geeta Chaudhary, Karishma Kathariya, Surendra Chaudhary, and Premlal Chaudhary.
Muslim: Samina Miya, Afsana Banu, and Galaja Shamim Mikrani.
