The Shram Sanskriti Party has finalized its proportional representation (PR) lawmakers.
A meeting held in Dharan on Sunday decided the names and recommended them to the Election Commission.
Party Chairman Harka Sampang said that the candidates recommended under the proportional representation system were finalized according to the party’s decision.
According to him, the selected candidates are Purna Prasad Limbu from the Adivasi Janajati category, Ambika Devi Sangraula from the Khas Arya category, Radhika Ramtel from the Dalit category, and Ruby Kumari Thakur from the Madheshi category.
The party said that the candidates were chosen based on the party’s statute, qualifications, and capabilities, and that their names have already been sent to the Election Commission.
In the House of Representatives election held on March 5, the Shram Sanskriti Party won three seats under the direct (first-past-the-post) system and four seats under the proportional representation system.
