Balen Shah crosses 10,000 votes in Jhapa-5

Kathmandu, March 6

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Balen Shah has crossed 10,000 votes in Jhapa Constituency No. 5.

He has so far received 10,466 votes, while CPN-UML candidate KP Sharma Oli is a distant second with 2,205 votes.

Mandhara Chimariya of the Nepali Congress has received 297 votes, and Nepali Communist Party candidate Ranjit Tamang has received 318 votes.

Shram Sanskriti Party candidate Samir Tamang has received 1,357 votes.

Vote counting is ongoing.
