Balen Shah extends lead over Oli in Jhapa-5

Kathmandu, March 6

Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Balen Shah has extended his lead over CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli in Jhapa-5.

According to the latest vote count, Shah has received 6,551 votes, while Oli has secured 1,428 votes. Shah is leading by 5,123 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Mandhara Chimariya has received 216 votes, with Nepali Communist Party candidate Ranjit Tamang in fourth with 165 votes.
