Police have taken some booth agents into custody in Dolakha after ballot papers and Swastika stamps were looted.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Aulakh Bahadur Ale, voting has been suspended at the Goleshwar Secondary School polling center in Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-4 following a dispute.
Ale said that some booth representatives looted unsigned ballot papers and Swastika stamps.
"A dispute broke out after booth representatives took the ballot papers and stamps. The missing ballot papers have not been found yet, and the search is ongoing," he said. "Some booth representatives have been taken into custody."
Earlier, staff deployed at the same location were physically assaulted, prompting police to fire warning shots in the air to control the situation.
