Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising has said that his party intends to lead the government.
While unveiling the party's election manifesto in Kathmandu on Sunday, Ghising remarked that the primary purpose of entering politics is to take the reins of government, News Agency Nepal reported.
Ghising emphasized that even from within Parliament, his party would raise a powerful voice to resolve the nation's collective issues.
He added that once in power, the party would work strictly according to the commitments outlined in its election manifesto.
"Everyone engages in politics to ultimately lead the government," Ghising said. "Alongside that, many raise their voices against societal and national problems by sitting in the opposition or as strong representatives in Parliament. We will go into government to provide that leadership and fulfill the commitments we have made."
Ghising also highlighted that his party places significant emphasis on hydropower production for the country's prosperity.
