UML leader Rajendra Gautam withdraws candidacy

CPN-UML leader Rajendra Gautam has withdrawn his candidacy.

Gautam that Setopati that he has withdrawn his nomination for the post of deputy general secretary.

However, as the final list of candidates has already been published, his name will still appear on the ballot paper.

Gautam previously served as the head of the UML’s publicity department.

He was an aspirant for the post of deputy general secretary from KP Oli’s team.

After Raghubir Mahaseth, Lekhraj Bhatta, and Bishnu Rimal were made candidates for deputy general secretary from Oli’s team, Gautam had filed his nomination for the same post as an independent candidate.
