Oli finalizes office-bearers' team for general convention

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who is running for reelection at the party’s 11th general convention, has finalized his proposed team of office-bearers.

The team includes Oli as chairman; and Bishnu Paudel, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Guru Baral, Prithvi Subba Gurung, and Pradeep Gyawali as vice-chairmen.

Shankar Pokharel has been finalized for the post of general secretary, while deputy general secretaries include Raghubir Mahaseth, Bishnu Rimal, and Lekhraj Bhatta.

Oli has picked Padma Aryal, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Khagaraj Adhikari, Yamlal Kandel, Sherdhan Rai, Mahesh Basnet, Hikmat Karki, and Rajan Bhattarai as secretaries.
