Manoj Silwal replaces Hitendra Dev Shakya as NEA managing director

The government has removed Hitendra Dev Shakya from his position as managing director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

The Cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to remove Shakya from the position and appoint Manoj Silwal in his place.

The previous government of CPN-UML and Nepali Congress had removed Kulman Ghising as NEA managing director and replaced him with Shakya.
