Private home of former president Bidya Bhandari set on fire

Protestors set fire to the private residence of former President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

According to her private secretary Raj Kumar Rai, protestors set fire to former President Bhandari's residence in Bhangal on Tuesday.

"The former president's residence has been set on fire. She has been taken to a safe location. Protestors are still surrounding her residence," Rai told Setopati.

Even though Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced his resignation, protests in Kathmandu and across the country have not stopped. Protestors are continuously vandalizing and committing arson.

The Gen Z protests are ongoing in Kathmandu and across the country, with 19 persons killed in Kathmandu and Itahari on Monday.
