Water Supply Minister Pradip Yadav has resigned.

Announcing his decision on Facebook Minister Yadav stated that he is stepping down in support of the Gen Z protests and in opposition to the government's crackdown on them.

Yadav, who is also the deputy general secretary of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), appealed for everyone to exercise restraint and guide the youths in the right direction. He was elected to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Birgunj,

Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens Nawal Kishor Sah is the other JSP minister in the KP Sharma Oli government.
