Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has signed performance agreements with deputy prime ministers, ministers, and the chief secretary for the main tasks to be undertaken and achievements to be accomplished in the current fiscal year.
The signing and exchange of these performance agreements for upcoming programs, along with the annual progress review of ministries, took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Thursday.
The prime minister’s secretariat said that the practice of performance agreements was initiated during PM Oli’s previous tenure to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure development and service delivery improvements aimed at fulfilling the national aspiration of "Prosperous Nepal, happy Nepalis."
After signing performance agreements with the prime minister, ministers will need to enter into performance agreements with their respective secretaries.
