Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former president Bidya Devi Bhandari held talks at the CPN-UML headquarters in Chyasal on Sunday.

Former president Bhandari visited the CPN-UML central office in Chyasal on Sunday afternoon to meet PM Oli, who is also the party chairman.

Having relinquished all state facilities except security, former president Bhandari is preparing to return to active politics in the UML. Although she sought to renew her party membership, the UML has put it on hold.

The UML is preparing to hold discussions and make a decision on whether the former president can return to party politics.

Chairman Oli has stated that the former president cannot return to party politics. However, some UML leaders and cadres have said that the former president should be brought back into party politics.
