The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have boycotted the House of Representatives meeting.
A question-and-answer session with the prime minister was scheduled in the House of Representatives on Friday.
As soon as the session began, RSP lawmakers stood up from their seats in protest. Following this, Speaker Devraj Ghimire removed the Q&A session from the agenda, citing "special reasons."
Later, when Speaker Ghimire permitted lawmaker Amaresh Kumar Singh to speak, the RSP and RPP walked out of the House.
RSP lawmakers had attended the House meeting wearing black attire and blue scarves.
The RSP has been demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and the formation of an investigation committee on the visit visa issue.
