The House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned until Thursday.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat posted a notice announcing that the meeting, which was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, has been postponed until Thursday at 11 a.m.
The House meeting scheduled for Tuesday at 1 p.m. began late. It was adjourned for half an hour after about five minutes.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire adjourned the meeting after RSP lawmakers surrounded the well of the House and chanted slogans in protest on Tuesday as well.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and the formation of an investigation committee over the visit visa issue.
