Home Minister Lekhak denies involvement in visit visa scandal

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has denied his involvement in the visit visa scandal.

Organizing a press conference at the Lhotse Hall of the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar of Kathmandu on Wednesday, Home Minister Lekhak said that he has no involvement in the scandal.

"The way opinions have been expressed through social media indicating my involvement, they are false. I want to state through you that I have no involvement in this matter," he said.

He added that although he had sought to address the issue in Parliament, he was compelled to hold a press conference due to obstruction by the opposition.
