Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava met Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday.
During the meeting held at Baluwatar, Ambassador Srivastava briefed PM Oli on the recent tensions between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India, on April 22, according to the prime minister’s secretariat.
He also expressed gratitude for the statement issued by the Nepal government on Thursday regarding the incident.
On the occasion, PM Oli said that Nepal stands for global peace and, in line with Nepal’s firm stance against all forms of terrorism, condemned the terrorist attack.
He said that Nepal would not allow its territory to be used by any inimical forces against its neighboring countries.
