Azerbaijan's deputy foreign minister meets President Paudel

Azerbaijani’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel on Friday.

The president's secretariat said that the meeting took place on Friday at Sheetal Niwas, the presidential residence.

President Paudel expressed happiness over the recent progress in bilateral relations between the two countries and emphasized the need to identify and work together in areas of cooperation.

Recalling his participation in COP-29, the president expressed confidence that the relationship between the two countries would grow stronger in the coming days.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mammadov said that President Paudel's visit to Azerbaijan has added a new dimension to relations between the two countries. He said that although no agreements had been signed in the past 30 years, efforts are now underway to finalize and sign agreements soon.
