Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday evening for a two-day official visit to Nepal.
Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, and other senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed him upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE deputy prime minister will hold high-level political meetings and engage in official bilateral talks with a Nepali delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh.
Deputy Prime Minister Al Nahyan is accompanied on his visit by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Energy and Sustainability Affairs Abdullah Balala, UAE Ambassador to Nepal Abdulla Saeed Mubarak Jarwan Al Shamsi, and other senior UAE government officials.
The delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Al Nahyan will return to the UAE on Wednesday afternoon.
