Bindabasini Kansakar of RSP becomes HoR member

The Election Commission has made Bindabasini Kansakar of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) House of Representatives (HoR) member.

The Election Commission even provided Kansakar the certificate of HoR member on Sunday, according to Election Commission official Guru Prasad Wagle.

The party’s central committee meeting held on April 12 had removed Dhaka Kumar Shrestha from lawmaker and party member after audio recording of him purportedly demanding Rs 20 million from promoter of B&C Medical College Durga Prasai was made public.

It had also decided to replace Shrestha, who was elected through the Proportional Representation electoral system, with acid attack survivor Kansakar.
